Therapy shouldn't require adding one more thing to your already-too-long to-do list.

Telehealth makes it possible to do the work without the commute, the scramble for childcare, or the stress of fitting another appointment into your day.
Same depth. Same connection. Just through your screen.

Telehealth Therapy

I get it. There's this idea that therapy has to happen in a physical office to be "real" or effective. But here's what I've learned after years of doing telehealth work: connection isn't about being in the same room. It's about being fully present with each other.

My clients consistently tell me that my warmth and presence comes through the screen. That they feel seen, heard, and supported just as much as they would in person. The work we do together is just as deep, just as transformative, and just as real.

Telehealth therapy isn't a compromise. It's a different way of showing up for the same meaningful work.

"But Is It Actually Effective?"

No commute, no traffic, no trying to find parking. You can do therapy from your home, your car during lunch, or anywhere you have privacy and a stable internet connection.

Convenience

Why Clients Choose Telehealth

If you live outside the Conroe area, if you have mobility limitations, if childcare is an issue, or if your schedule is unpredictable, telehealth makes therapy possible when in-person sessions wouldn't be.

Accessibility

Some people feel more comfortable opening up in their own space. You're in control of your environment, which can make vulnerability feel a little safer.

Comfort

Traveling for work? Sick but not too sick for therapy? Bad weather? Telehealth means you don't have to cancel or reschedule as often.

Consistency

  • A private, quiet space where you can talk freely
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a camera and microphone
  • To be physically located in Texas during our sessions (I'm licensed in Texas only)

We'll use a HIPAA-compliant video platform to protect your privacy. I'll send you the link before your first session, and it's simple to access, no downloads or complicated setup required!

What You Need for Telehealth Therapy

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Research consistently shows that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for most issues. The connection, the depth of work, and the outcomes are the same.

It happens. If we get disconnected, I'll call you on the phone number you provided and we'll finish the session by phone if needed. We'll troubleshoot any tech issues together.

You need to be physically located in Texas during our sessions, since I'm only licensed to practice in Texas. But within Texas, you can be anywhere that's private and comfortable.

You can do sessions from your car (parked for safety), a private office, or anywhere else you have privacy. Some clients do therapy during their lunch break or step outside for sessions.

I offer both! Telehealth is available throughout Texas and in-person sessions will be available in the Conroe area when my office location opens in August 2026. Some people prefer one over the other, and that's completely fine! If at any point I feel that in-person sessions would be more beneficial for what you're working on, we'll talk about it together.

The first step is a free consultation where we'll talk about what's bringing you to counseling and make sure this works for what you need. No pressure, no commitment, just a conversation.
