You know something needs to change.

Maybe it's the anxiety that follows you everywhere. Maybe it's the exhaustion no amount of rest can fix. Maybe you just don't recognize yourself anymore.

Individual therapy is where we figure out what's actually going on beneath the surface and start working through it together. You won't be doing this alone.

Identity & Sense of Self

Major Life Transitions

  • Career changes or uncertainty
  • Becoming a parent, growing your family, or navigating empty nest
  • Relationship changes (new relationship, breakup, divorce)
  • Grief and loss
  • Moving or relocating
  • Identity shifts through different life stages

Individual therapy is uniquely tailored to what you need. Some people come weekly, others every other week. Sessions are 50 minutes, and we can also schedule 90-minute intensive sessions if there is a need for more time.

What to Expect in Sessions

We'll start by getting clear on what's bringing you here and what you're hoping will be different. Then we'll work together to:

  • Name the patterns that are keeping you stuck
  • Get curious about where they came from and what they're trying to protect
  • Practice new ways of responding, thinking, and showing up
  • Build skills for emotion regulation, setting boundaries, and choosing yourself
  • Process emotions you've been avoiding or numbing
  • Make space for the work that creates real, lasting change

This isn't about fixing you. You're not broken. This is about unlearning what no longer serves you and finding your way back to yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on what you're working on and what you need. Some people come for a few months to address a specific issue or life transition. Others continue longer because they want to keep working on patterns, growth, and self-discovery. We'll talk about your goals early on and check in regularly on what feels right for you.

No. A lot of people start therapy because they just feel off or stuck, not because they have a diagnosable issue. If something feels like it needs to shift, that's enough.

That's normal, especially at first! I'll ask questions to guide us and to help us figure out what's bringing you to counseling. You don't have to come in with a script or agenda.

Absolutely! Therapy and medication can truly work hand-in-hand. While I don't prescribe medication, I can provide credible referrals for providers if you are interested in medication management.

Therapist fit matters! Sometimes therapy doesn't work because the approach wasn't right for what you needed, or the connection wasn't there. That doesn't mean therapy won't work for you, it just means you haven't found the right fit yet. Let's talk about what didn't work so we can figure out if this would be different.

No! While I specialize in working with women and my approach is designed with women's experiences in mind, I have extensive experience working with adults of all genders and backgrounds. If you're wondering whether I'm the right fit for you, let's talk about it in the free consultation.

The first step is a free consultation where we'll talk through what's bringing you here and make sure this feels like the right fit.

No pressure, no commitment, just a conversation.
